Beda’a Opens Doha Flagship & Unveils Angles Watches

Beda’a has opened its first flagship boutique at the Mandarin Oriental in Doha, marking a significant expansion for the independent watchmaker. The new location serves as a permanent home for the brand, consolidating its collections under one roof and offering a space designed specifically around its watchmaking identity. This move follows the brand’s roots in the region, where it first began its story, and signals a continued push toward a global footprint. A second boutique is scheduled to open in London later in 2026, extending the brand’s reach beyond Qatar.
To celebrate the opening, Beda’a unveiled two exclusive boutique editions: the quartz-powered Angles 37 and the manually wound Angles Mecaline. Both models feature a vertically brushed silver dial, black Breguet-style numerals, and gold-toned hands. The limited releases will be available exclusively through Beda’a boutiques starting August 26, 2026, initially at the Doha location before moving to the upcoming London store.
The visual language of these new watches mirrors the interior of the Doha boutique, where silver surfaces are contrasted with black architectural elements. This design choice links the timepieces to the space they inhabit, creating a cohesive presentation for customers. While the two editions share a dial design, they offer distinct experiences for the wearer.

It is worth noting that the choice between a simple quartz movement and a mechanical caliber is a fundamental one for watch enthusiasts. The Angles 37 prioritizes thinness and ease of use with its Swiss Ronda 1062.1 Slimtech movement, while the Mecaline offers the tactile satisfaction of a hand-wound mechanism inside a Peseux/ETA 7001 caliber. The Angles 37 maintains a remarkably thin profile at 5.3 mm, whereas the Mecaline, at 6 mm, manages to remain slender despite its mechanical complexity.
The Doha boutique offers a unique shopping environment. Visitors can explore the full range of Beda’a products in a setting that emphasizes the brand’s Swiss heritage. The brand continues its expansion plans with the London flagship scheduled to open later in 2026. This location will also carry the new boutique editions alongside other items from the collection. The company remains focused on growing its presence in key international markets.
