Stores that list their inventory with Borrow Luxury have generated more than $40,000 from the platform. Cofer explains that holding one foot of display case space costs a retailer between $2,000 and $3,000 per month. If that specific piece does not sell, the business is effectively losing money by keeping it on the floor.
